FORMULA:
For 1 film-coated tablet:
Dry extract of Ginkgo folium 40 mg
(equivalent to 9.6 mg total flavonoid)
Excipients (microcrystalline cellulose 101, sodium starch glycolate, talc power, magnesium stearate, chitofilm power, lake ponceau 4R, lake quinoline yellow, purity water) s.q.f 1 film-coated tablet.
For 1 softgel:
Dry extract of Ginkgo folium 40 mg
(equivalent to 9.6 mg total flavonoid)
Excipients (soya oil, white beeswax , gelatine, glycerin, nipasol M, titanium dioxide, patent blue V, quinoleine yellow) s.q.f 1 softgel
PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS:
Promote flow of arterioles, capillaries, veins (increase blood flow).
Rheological effects of blood (reduce blood viscosity, antagonize PAF receptor). Protective effect on cell metabolism. Improve dromotropic disorder.
Against free – radical production and cell membrane lipid peroxidation.
INDICATIONS:
Decrease of memory, lack of concentration, particularly in elderly. Cerebral circulatory insufficiency. Tinnitus, vertigo, deficiency of hearing. Intermittent claudication. Some cases of anaemic retinopathy. Raynaud syndrome.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 tablet x 3 times per day. Take orally after or at meals.
Or comply with doctor’s prescription.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Children under 12 years of age, pregnant women and lactating women, patients with blood coagulation disorders.
Phase of acute myocardial infarction, cerebral haemorrhage.
People with hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the medicine.
PRECAUTIONS:
This medicine should be used cautiously in patients taking anticoagulant drugs.
PREGNANT WOMEN AND LACTATING WOMEN:
Do not use.
DRIVING AND OPERATING MACHINE ABILITY:
No effect.
UNDESIREABLE EFFECTS:
Mild and rarely seen cases arising following prolonged administration: gastrointestinal disturbances, headaches and allergic skin reactions. This medicine may prolong bleeding time.
Inform the physician immediately if any undesirable effect occurs while using the medicine.
DRUGS INTERACTIONS:
This drug should not be administered after using anticoagulant drug because Ginkgo biloba reduces blood coagulation.
Do not use “O.P.CAN” concurrently with antiepileptic and antidepressant drugs.
DOSAGE FORM AND PRESENTATION:
Film-coated tablets. Box of 2 blisters of 15 tablets.
Softgel. Box of 4 blisters of 10 softgel.

36 months from manufacturing date.
STORAGE:
in a cool and dry place, temperature below 30°C, protected from light.
