New ProductsOn October 22, 2021, OPC Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company with stock code OPC, organized the 2021 Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders at the Company Headquarters (1017 Hong Bang, Ward 12, District 6, City. Ho Chi Minh). However, to ensure safety in epidemic prevention, the Congress was held online.
Contents of the Congress approved the following proposals: Amending and supplementing the Charter of organization and operation of the Company; Amend and supplement internal regulations on governance; Amending and supplementing the Regulations on organization and operation of the Board of Directors; Amending and supplementing the Regulations on organization and operation of the Supervisory Board; End of the old term of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board; Approval of the number of members of the Board of Directors and Supervisory Board for the new term (2021 – 2026); Approving the list of candidates to elect the Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors of the Company for the 2021 – 2026 term was discussed and approved by the Congress with a high consensus rate.
The Congress takes place in the context of a difficult and challenging economic situation, especially the first 9 months of 2021 being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Congress highly appreciated the efforts of the Board of Directors, Executive Board and all OPC employees in striving to complete the production and business plans assigned by the resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders.
The Congress conducted the election of a Board of Directors consisting of 5 members and a Supervisory Board consisting of 3 members for the term 2021-2026, the specific results are as follows:
